Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When we translate English sentences into Japanese ones with a translation software, it often generates unnatural ones. One of those reasons is because pronouns appear too much in the translated sentences. This paper discusses an algorithm to judge whether or not changing pronouns into zero-pronouns in the translated sentences, by givings a grade according to a pronouns based on the morpheme. We have implemented a system based on our algorithm, and conducted the experiments. We have compared the results by the system with the one by hand. A success rate is 86%. As the error case, there is a case that a pronoun which should be changed into zero-pronoun is left, contrary a case that a pronoun which should not be is changed into zero-pronoun. Moreover, it is found that it needs not only to change a pronoun into zero-pronoun but also to change into the noun which a pronoun refers to.
