Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For a large database, It is important to provide an effective method to search for desired documents. Most of existing methods use words as a key for document retrievals. However, it is very difficult to find key words that appropriately distinguish desired documents from other non-desired documents. The task of refining a query to reduce the search results is the most important step, when using search engine. This paper proposes a method for supporting the document retrieval process by visualizing a document information. the visualized information simplifies the task of refining a query, and helps user to understand relation between documents and words.
