Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We note a semantic attribute as the clue for the disambiguation of translaton of noun word, and examined its ability of word meaning discrimination. For research, we use the "Nihongo Goi Taikei" for Iwanami and Japanese-English ductionary for ALT and IPAL Noun dictionaty. We studied for the 499 words basic noun of Japanese from the words. As a result, 55% of nouns could be selected on translated word, and 87% of nouns could be reduced ambiguity. We also try to extend the semantic attribute. However, the improvement was only 6%.
