Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We designed and implemented a domain independent platform of spoken dialogue interface for information query. Using this platform, system developers can easily make an information query system for their database with spoken dialogue interface without specifying a complicated grammar and vocabulary for the spoken language module. Because this dialogue system presents acceptable utterance patterns and interactively indicates system's status to users, users can smoothly make utterances or correction in the dialogue. We applied the platform to hotel search system and literature search system.
