Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For spontaneous speech understanding, phrase spotting based approach is hopeful, because phrases are settled both on semantics and on pronunciation. We propose a phrase spotting method using searching with heuristic model which incorporates knowledges about syllables and vocabulaty.Syllable-concatenate-model models part of the speech, and wordconcatenate-model is used as constraints and brings higher recognition rate.Experimental results show that the method is effective.Furthermore,we study speech understanding methods with searching driven by syntax, semantics based on the phrase spotting.
