Abstract(in English) A document image in general contains natural language expression and picture expression.Especially,a drill test is written with the intent to handle picture patterns according to the question,and to solve the problem.This understanding system has to be built under the integrated environment of natural language processing and picture processing.This paper presents the distributed and hierarchy interpretation mechanism of the drill text for first grade mathematics.Interpretation modules try to interpret the component using a variety of knowledge modules based on the structural and semantic features of that component.In addition, Modules communicate with other one by asynchronous message.The module is performed base on a context table.Its table contains interpretation ID,Segmentation ID,segme nt information of text image and message queue.
