| Abstract(in English) | A new approach,which applies a full-text retrieval method to speech dialogue system,is discussed.TARSAN is a travel guidance system,which can retrieve data from practical scale text information (about 80,000 items in two CD-ROMS),using spoken dialogue.To deal with a large number of vocabulary in the speech recognition part,we developed a new technique which dynamically changes recognition-vocabulary according to the results retrieved from the CD-ROMS.In the current system,city and, or prefecture names,location conditions and subject-names are changed actively according to the situation in speech conversation.Experimental results using TARSAN are also discussed. |
