| 抄録(和) | 言語情報と画像情報の掛敷を比較検討し,その結果と言語と画像の統合処理あるいは相互変換との関連について述べる.これを通じ,記号情報とパターン情報の統合的処理も視野にいれて,この種の問題に関する私見を紹介する.また,これらの議論がマルチメディア,とくにメディア変換のための基礎技術として貢献できることにも言及する.議論は画像処理の立場に立って進める. |
| 抄録(英) | Analyzing the characteristics of language and image information, the author presents some considerations on integrated processing of both sorts of information and mutual transfornmation between them. These are expected to activate discussions not only on these problems, but on more fundamental problems of integrated processing of information represented by patterns and that by symbols. The discussions are also considered to contribute to the base of the multi-media technology, especially the media transformation. |
