Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When we interpret the natural language descriptions including visual information, the spatial relations in appearance become the problem and they could not be modeled properly based on the physical location of the objects. Modeling based on the perspective of the observer, and using potential model which accumulates the fragmentary qualitative (i.e., vague) constraints on the world, the spatial configuration of the world corresponding to the descriptions is calculated. Furthermore, as for the visibility of the object for the visual descriptions, the perspective projection method is used to simulate the view of the observer and to treat the partial visibility of the object.
