Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of our research is to establish a framework of text understanding system using imagery representations. In case understanding explanatory of machanical systems, spatial information takes large part. However, many researches based on symbolic representations, even though they are hard to deal with spatial information. We indicate the possibility of imagery representation and propose a domain world model includes a two dimensional Spatial imagery. We discuss a method of simulations on the domain world model and how to understand the meaning of a text using those functions. Finary, We present a experimental system. The system can recognize a similarity of representations derived from another viewpoint by using spatial information.
