Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to synthesize natural spoken dialog, it's necessary to incorporate dialog information with generation of the surface sentence and the prosody. This report describes the result of analysing the dialog context dependencies in a dialog speech, especially for accentual phrases containing person's names. The F0 peak of the accentual phrase in dialog is predicted by two sets of rule which use syntactic features of the sentence or dialog features, respectively. The latter rule set reduced the prediction errors from 18.9 Hz to 11.2 Hz. This rule set has the almost same performance for the phrases containing 'the day of the week'.
