Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This article describes about the improvement of user interface for our Japanese-Korean automatic interpretation system, considering the task environment : "Hotel Reservation". A user-friendly interface with a proper system integration is also required for an interpretation system, as well as a high-speed and accurate speech recognition and translation. It should be designed based on human factors like as handling features. Experiments on automatic interpretation and their results using our recent version of the system showed that our system has a feasibility for a limited task domain. However, we have to continue further investigation to realize a practical system as we will discuss.
