Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are editing a computer-readable dictionary about Japanese verbs which are composed of KANJI as a leading character with trailing KANA letters. The KANJI character manages several characteristics of Japanese verbs with respect to the KANA conjugation, such as intransitive or transitive verb, potential form, causative form, and so on. We adopt a dictionary form of verb to a KANJI character so that the dictionary becomes concise for an intelligent computer as well as for foreign learners of Japanese language.
