Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The newly developed system can explain how to write a person's name automatically using the original readings and can give additional explanation that allows recipients to choose among many kanji character candidates. For example Mr. Sho's "spelling" is "sheep and wing", which indicates only one candidate from many homophones that have the same reading of the name Sho. Recipients can select other explanations if the original explanation is not clear for them. The accuracy in transmitting the kanji to human listener is about 98.8% per kanji character. The error rate is one third if the system provides another explanations.
