Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A binocular stereo vision was carried out using a silicon retina. The silicon retina computes spatial and temporal derivatives with Laplacian-Gaussian-like receptive field and a subtraction of consequent frames, respectively. Edges and directions of movement of the objects in an image was represented by digital numbers and a depth of the image was calculated effectively in real time by logical combination of these numbers.
