Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | What is a smooth contour in haptic? We've investigated the visual horopter analytically. Then we proposed the Independent Scalar Learning Element Summation Model (ISLES Model) that takes in the limit of the ability of human to study. Then we investigated smooth contours analytically in 2D plane parallel to median plane by using the ISLES Model. The result is that, in the 2D space of the shoulder angle and the elbow angle, smooth contours are either ellipses or hyperbolae. |
