Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new image segmentation processing method using nonlinear analog networks. Accurate segmentation of complex natural scene images using nonlinear oscillator networks is achieved by introducing image reconstruction using resistive-fuse networks. We also propose a nonlinear analog network circuit implementing both the oscillator and resistive-fuse dynamics using pulse modulation circuit techniques. Since we can share most circuit components bedween both networks for the new processing, additional parts are very few, and the circuit area is almost the same as that of the original oscillator network circuits that we have already proposed.
