Blind Source Separation With Additive Noises

Abstract(in English) There are many potential applications in the problem of blind source separation. The mutual information method is one of the main independent component analysis(ICA)approaches for solving this problem. This method usually assumes the observed noises is free. Consider the influence of noises in the practical applications such as bimedical signal processing or image processing, using only mutual information method may fail to separate or restore the source signals. In this report, we applied the method so called Factor analysis to pre-process the observed data before blind sourse separation. Factor analysis is the technique to find the latent factor that we can't be measured from the series of observed signals. And it is the statistical technique which resolves the observed value to common latent factor(s) and unique factor(E:observed error, oberved noises in blind source separation). By applying this pre-processing, the influence of observed noises are decreased and the performance for separating the unknown source signals is improved.
