| 抄録(和) | 追従眼球運動は、外界の動きに対して短潜時で起こる眼球運動である。この眼球運動は、網膜上における外界の像のぶれを最小にし、安定した視界を確保するのに役立っている。一方、動いている視標を網膜の中央で捉え続ける追跡眼球運動がある。追跡眼球運動中は、追跡対象となる視標は中心窩付近に保持されているが、それ以外の網膜像は、視線が動く結果として、網膜上を視線の動きとは反対方向に動く。この網膜像に対して生じた追従眼球運動は、その時に行っている追跡眼球運動を止めてしまう方向に起き、スムーズな視標の追跡が困難となることが予想される。しかし、実際にはスムーズな追跡眼球運動が生じている。追従眼球運動の大きさが、どのような条件で変化するのかを調べた結果、1)追従眼球運動に先行した背景の動きの視覚入力がある場合、2)追従眼球運動が起こる時に既に眼の動きが生じていた場合に、追従眼球運動の速度が変化した。この速度変化は、追従眼球運動を誘発する方向と、先行して与えた条件(先行する視覚刺激、先行する追跡眼球運動)の方向との関連で変化した。 |
| 抄録(英) | A brief movement of a textured background during smooth pursuit eye movements modulates the ongoing eye velocity in monkeys. The magnitude of the modulation of the eye velocity was depend on the current eye movement velocity and the preceding visual motion velocity. A large eye movement response was evoked when the retinal slip of the background was changed to the direction of the movement or during eye movement. When it was changed only the velocity and was not changed the retinal slip direction of the background, only a small modulation was observed. The result suggests that the amplitude of the response to the brief movement of the background is dependent on the preceding visual stimulation, and that the modulation of the eye velocity by a brief background motion during pursuit is, at least in part, due to the retinal stimulation during the ongoing pursuit. |
