| 抄録(和) | 本研究では、追跡眼球運動が背景の瞬間的な動きに対しておこる眼球運動に及ぼす影響を人において調べた。被験者が左右いずれかの方向に20^O/sで動く視標を追跡している最中に背景を瞬間的(60^O/s、40ms)に動かした時の眼球運動を測定した。被験者が静止した視標を注視している時に瞬間的に背景を動かして起こる眼球運動をコントロールとした。静止している背景の上で動く視標に対して追跡眼球運動を行っている時、背景が追跡眼球運動と同方向に瞬間的に動くと、この背景の動きに対してコントロールより大きな眼球運動が起き、背景が反対方向に動くとコントロールより小さい眼球運動が観察された。一方、追跡している視標と背景が同方向に同速度で動いている時に背景が瞬間的に動くと、背景の瞬間的な動きが、追跡眼球運動と同方向であるか反対方向であるかにかかわらず大きな反応が観察された。 |
| 抄録(英) | We studied effects of smooth pursuit on ocular responses to brief movements of the background. The subjects were required to pursue a target moving horizontally at constant speeds. A brief movement (40ms, 60^O/s) of the background in one of the 4 directions (right, left, up, down) was introduced during the steady-state pursuit eye movements. As a control, when the subject was fixating a stationary spot, a brief background motion was introduced. When the subject was fixating a stationary spot, a brief background motion elicits little response with a short latency. A large response to the same brief background motion was observed when the subject was pursuing a moving target with the stationary background, but only when the background motion was in the same direction as the pursuit. The response to the background motion was weak when its direction was opposite to the pursuit. On the ther hand, when the subject was pursuing the targt while the background was moving together, the same brief movement of the background increased the response amplitude in all the directions. |
