Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Fwrctional possibilities efa single chaotic neuron model are studied by means of nurnerical simulations related with dynwlical signal processing. As signals, wc apply six kinds of temporal spiking inputs with the same mean rate but di~erent correlations of intelspike intervals. Using au enrbedding method on a two-dimensional space from temporal output series of the model, we investigate long t.ime behaviors of response dynaulics. On the embedded space, the diircrence in thne structure of interspike intervals between six kinds of inputs leade to amplified difrerenee in dynamical respQnses betweeu them, and their discrimination ability shows uoise robustness. In addition, we evaluate the Lyapunov exponents in response dynamics from a viewpoints of nonlinear dynamical systems.
