Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We studied mutual entrainment of neural network in area CA3 of the hippocampal slice, which showed epileptic activity by the pharmacological treatment, and artificial nonlinear oscillator(Radial Isochron Clock). That is, the firing of CA3 network perturbates RIC to shift the phase, in turn, the RIC determines the timing of the stimulation to CA3 according to the phase. We analyzed time series of firing intervals and "phase" which is defined by the interval between the stimulus to the firing, and the dependency of the strength of entrainment on the intensity of the perturbation.
