| 抄録(和) | 遠隔地間通信会議(以下、遠隔会議)において、現実の対面会議と同様のコミュニケーションを実現するための重要な要素の一つは、参加者間の視線の一致である。しかし、従来の遠隔会議システムにおいては、特殊なハードウェアを用いなければ、視線の一致は実現できなかった。本稿では、特殊なハードウェアを用いることなく、視線の一致を実現する方法として、「横顔視線一致」を提案する。これは、対話の当事者(発言者一人とその発言対象者一人)の横顔画像を、画面上で水平に向かい合わせで配置する方法である。評価実験の結果、「横顔視線一致」は遠隔会議において有効であることを確認した。 |
| 抄録(英) | This report describes a method of displaying two profiles horizontally that realize eyecontact psychologically on a tele-conference. It is important that the dialogists(who are the speaker and the listener)can make eye-contact on the teleconference, but in the previous teleconference system, they can not do it without a special hardware. Our method realizes the eye-contact on the general hardware as follows. The profiles of the dialogists are taken by the cameras at their sides, and the left profile of a dialogist and the right profile of the other dialogist are horizontally aligned on the display. We tested this method in psychological experiments and showed it effective. |
