Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a previous paper, we demonstrated that the recall ability of the complex-valued associative memory model can be improved by adding a penalty term into the energy function. In this paper we deal with the applications of the model having penalty term. The important point for considering the applications is how we can make good use of apriori information. We show two applicable examples: error correcting means in code transmission and image transmission systems. In the former, we mention that the proposed system achieves a better performance in comparison with the conventional one using multiphase-shift key modulation. In the latter, we propose the system which transmits the image data in the form of complex-number obtained by Fourier transform, to be inserted as a pre-processing stage in network-based image process systems.
