Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a learning model of sound source localization ability through interaction between motion and audio-visual sensing. The ability is acquired by repeating sensing and moving. The model consists of two modules. One is visual estimation module consisting of three layer perceptron. The other is auditory estimation module consisting of a neural network with Table-Look-Up algorithm. In order to investigate the validity of the proposed module we conducted experiment by computer simulation. The experimental result show that sound source localization ability is acquired without supervisor for nonlinear system and the system can correctly localize sound source even when it is out of sight.
