Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The center-surround antagonistic receptive field(RF),which is the basic mechanism of the visual processing,is formulated at the retinal bipolar cells(BC).The retinal horizontal cell(HC)plays an important role for genarating the RF of the BC,and the RF of HC shows the stimulus dependent properties. In this paper,we proposed a new method for estimating the spatial properties of input current to HCs using the ionic current model. In order to evaluate the proposed method, the input currents were estimated from a test data generated by the photoreceptor-horizontal cell layer model. It was confirmed that the input currents are estimated high accuracy. The method is also applied to an experimental data recorded from the L-type horizontal cell of carp retina.
