Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The resolution of the retina is very high at the fovea, but rapidly decreases with the eccentricity. Many models for eye movement have already been proposed based on the non-uniform retina, but most of them neglect the non-uniformity of the receptive fields of the cells in the visual cortex. This paper offers a model of eye movement based on non-uniformity of both retina and cortex. The model also contains a mechanism to integrate visual information obtained by the scanning eye movement.
