Abstract(in English) | We constructed the system,which determined the optimum size of the layered neural network on the base of compacting algorithm.The system was applied to an XOR-problem,and the parameters for compacting algorithm were investigated.From the results,we found that the optimum range of the parameters,which were the thresholds of correlation(θ_1) and variance(θ_2) became broader by the limit ing of the number of hidden units integrated by one learning iteration,and that the optimum combination parameters were 0.5〓θ_ 1〓0.98 and 0.0θ_2〓0.1. |
