Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We investigated the neural network dynamics using the Hopfield- type neural network model under the correlated random perturbations and the global inhibition, which were supposed to mimic the cholinergic system and the serotonergic system in the brain stem, respectively. In the simulation, the perturbation was generated as the autoregressive process. The computer simulations showed that the correlation of the noise prolonged the maintained period of neuronal activities, and shifted the distributions of the staying time in the equilibrium states as well as the escape time from them to the longer-tailed profiles. Those results could provide the framework for studying the possible role of the cholinergic system in the brain functions through the neuronal dynamics transition during sleep cycle.
