Application of Distance Network to the Problem Classifying the Clusters

Abstract(in English) We proposed the layered neural network with learing distance element,and applied it into the problem classifying the clusters. In addition,the performance of the network for the problem was compared with those of the learning vector quantization (LVQ) method and the conventional three layered neural network with a back-propagation(BP) method.From the results,we found that the method used in this work was more useful for the problem classifying the clusters than the LVQ method and the conventional three layered neural network with a BP method.
