Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When doing voluntary movements, human beings perceive the positions of targets and the states of their bodies through directing their eyes to proper locations on proper occasions. The authors propose a mathematical model of such an information acquisition mechanism in voluntary movements. The model calculates motor commands based on the internal models of the objects, and observes the objects when the internal models becomes less reliable than a required level. The results of numerical experiments show that the proposed model simulates the human behavior in a shape-tracing task.
