Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present here a method for the study of stochastic neurodynamics in the framework of the Neural Network Master Equation proposed by Cowan. We consider a model neural network composed of two-state neurons. We employ an outer product representation of Neural Network Master Equation, which enables us to derive transparently a hierarchy of moment equations for the model networks. We propose an approximation schemes on this hierarchy which represents activities of networks by a single or two quasineurons placed in mean fields. An application of these approximations to a simple network is performed and compared with Monte Carlo simulations.
