Segmentation of Human-Face Images and Their Recongnition Utilizing Neural Network Techniques

Abstract(in English) In this paper,we propose a method for segmentation of face images from original images and extraction of their outlines.An outlines image of a face is devided into two dimensioned array of blocks.Gray level of each block is given by the percentage of outlines in it.These gray levels are fed to the input layer of multilayerd neural networks.After sufficient learning,the network successfully recognized test face patterns.
