Abstract(in English) Neural network models for visual motion detection mechanisms were studied by the computer simulation.As a result,A simple neural network was constituted by the simulation and it has the same ability of motion detection as the neural network pripviously reported.Bidirectional motion detection unit can be comprised of two one-directional motion detection units which mutually suppress their output.This mutual connection make the motion selectivity high.Motion detection models of neural network which have characteristics of the recruitment are systematized.The recruitment effects of these models are consistent with those reported by psychophysical and physiological studies.
