Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The light response of photoreceptor is generated by the photocurrent from the outer segment and ionic currents in the inner segment. The membrane ionic currents in the inner segment have been measured by several laboratories(eg.Bader et al.,1982 and Maricq et al.,1988).There are at least three voltage-dependent ionic currents(I_Ca>,I_Kv>,I_h) and two calcium-dependent ionic currents(I_Cl(Ca)>,I_K(Ca)>) in the inner segment. We described voltage-dependent ionic currents similar to the Hodgkin- Huxley(1952)equations.Calcium mechanism was described by the compartment model with intracellular space and membrane surface. We analyzed ionic current dynamics in the inner segment during voltage-clamp and current-clamp responses.
