| 抄録(和) | UllmanとGestalt学派の研究者たちによって行なわれていた仮現運動に関する心理物理実験を二つ紹介する。再確認した実験結果に基づいて、ある二つの継続的なイメージフレーム間の適切な対応を決定するモデルが紹介される。このモデルでは、イメージ構成要素間の結合の強度を評価する関数が定義される。この関数は、次の四つの要因による力を考慮する。1)構成要素間の距離間隔、2)構成要素のグループ間の適合性(特徴の類似性)、3)対応間の競争、そして、4)図形の輪郭線の内部力。各要素が異なるフレームの全ての要素と自分と隣接している要素から力を受け、反復の座標更新で、最も対応づけられやすい相手の要素へ移動する。そして、対応決定過程の途中段階が視覚化される。 |
| 抄録(英) | Some of the experiments regarding apparent motion,which had been performed by the Gestaltists and Ullman,were confirmed and re- examined.Based on this experimental evidence,a computational model developed from an elastic net method is introduced in order to determine the most appropriate correspondence between any two successive image frames.A cost function for evaluating the affinity between any pairing of image constituent clements is defined.This function takes into consideration the following four effects:i)The proximity between constituent elements,ii)The compatibility between groups of elements,iii)The competition between element pairings,and iv)The elasticity of the figure.Each element is urged to move under the influence of these four kinds of forces by all elements of the other frame and its neighboring elements.The change of the coordinates of each element is calculated at each iteration and the correspondence progress is visualized. |
