| 抄録(和) | 選択的注意機構のモデルを顔画像解析に応用して, 複雑な背景を持った画像中から顔および目と口を認識しその形状の抽出を行うネットワークを構築する. このネットワークは互いに相互作用を持つ高低二つの異なる解像度での処理経路から構成される. 正面を向いたほぼ同ーサイズの顔画像数枚を用いて学習を行い, ネットワークの能力を評価した. そして, このような限られた条件のごく少数の画像のみによる学習でも, 学習の完了したネットワークは, 多数のテスト画像について, 顔の様々なバリエーションにある程度対応して認識と切り出しを行う能力を持つようになることを確かめた. |
| 抄録(英) | We propose a neural network system with selective attention that can segments and recognizes two eyes and a mouth from an image of a face including a complex background. The network we propose consists of two channels of processing with different resolutions that interact each other. We trained the network with a small number of training patterns. We tested the performance of the network, and comfirmed that it has abilities to segment and recognize unfamiliar faces robustly with little effects of deformation from trainig patterns. |
