Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this work, we shall put forward an autoassociative model with a periodic activation function with delay-time and investigate the associative properties. It is shown that the present associative model can avoid the spurious patterns where the conventional associative model may be trapped, and certainly associate an embedded pattern, and it has an ability of the retrievals of the embedded patterns in the neural networks beyond the conventional associative model due to a chaotic behavior of the neurons with periodic with delay-time. Moreover it is found that the presently proposed associative model, without an external stimulus, may be regarded as a chaotic memory search model, and that the autoassociation is realized applying the external stimuli to the present associative model.
