Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Extraction of QRS-Wave in an electrocardiogram(ECG) is performed in this paper. In the first place, the ECG is modeled using neural networks (NN). When past ECG signals are input lo the NN, the NN generates the present ECG signal. A residual error (RES) is computed by subtracting the signal generated by the NN from an original ECG signal. At that time the RES increases from the Q point in the ECG abruptly, and decreases from the S point. Therefore, the QRS-Wave can be extracted by detecting these points where the RES increases and decreases abruptly. Encoding of the ECG with a center-clipping and pulse code transformations is performed using the RES to detect the points. As a result, the QRS-Wave is extracted by detecting the first positive and negative pulses.
