| 抄録(和) | 多物体の認識問題を含む、物体の形状認識モデルを、最近の脳生理学的知見や、視覚認識の認知科学的知見を反映させて構成することを本論では試みる。生物特に霊長類の物体認識の機構を探ると、多数のモジュールからの各種の情報を統合して、最終的な物体認識を行なっていることが分かり、情報統合の一つの例になっている。従来の工学的な認識モデルは、位置依存の形状認識を基本として構築されてきた。しかし、生物の物体認識は位置不変の形状認識を基本として、その上の注意機構で焦点を当てることで位置情報を得ているように見える。この仕組み自体の研究から、今までの工学的手法と事なる手法の芽が得られると期待できる。多物体の認識の検討課題として、本論では、認知科学で検討がよく行われている語および文字の認識課題を取り上げ、シミュレーションを交えて紹介する。 |
| 抄録(英) | We propose a multiple objects recognition model according to the recent knowledge of brain science and cognitive science. The multiple objects recognition model is composed of a position independent shape recognition module and a selective attention mechanism which recover position and size information. In this paper, we demonstrate how the learning and recognition of word recognition (as multiple objects) are performed in this model. |
