Abstract(in English) The SOM network by T.Kohonen was extended to 3 dimensions. By the system, the space resolution which is related to the power of expression of the results, more increased than the ordinary one or two dimensional system. The simulation was carried out using two types of input data of (a) the uniform random numbers and (b) cloth color data for men's suit. The characteristic SOM maps were successfully formed.
