| 抄録(和) | 我々人間を含めた生物は,同一観測対象物を複数の異なるセンサを用いて観測し,それらのセンサ情報をもとに学習・認識を行なっている.これにより,あらゆる環境下で正確な状況把握を可能にしていると考えられる.そこで本研究では,複数の異なる種類のセンサ情報を評価・統合することにより,高精度なパターン認識を実現するシステムを構築する.そして,このシステムの応用例として,自律ロボットに提案したシステムを適用する.計算機実験では,この自律ロボットが,一部のセンサが使用できないような悪状況下であっても,正確に行動決定できることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | In biological systems, several sensors are used to recognize objects. Using this strategy, they can recognize objects correctly under wrong conditions where a part of sensors do not work well. From the point of view, we propose a robot which learns and recognizes objects using several sensors. This robot consists of several neural networks each of which receives inputs from corresponding sensor. In the learning phase, each neural network modifies its parameters so as to yield the same output vector as the other neural networks. In the recognition phase, the system integrates the output vectors of all neural networks with controlling priorities of sensors. The priorities are controlled according to the confidence of each sensory input. The integrated output is the motor control signal for the robot. |
