Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Neocognitron is a multi-layer neural-network model that has an ability to learn and recognize patterns. We have developed a set of class libraries, by which a simulator of the Neocognitron can easily be constructed. The purpose of this project is to provide a re-usable and extensible set of class libraries for the research on the Neocognitron. Documents and sources of these libraries implemented in C++ language are to be released to the public available. This article described the overview of the libraries and shows an example how a neocognitron simulator can be constructed with the libraries.
