Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Using a synaptic competition by presynaptic factor, local receptive fields with an orientation selectivity can be formed in a self-organizing fashion even though synapses between input and output layers are fully connected. However, as this model has an a priori competitive system called a hypercolumn structure, it might possibly happen that the model can not appropriately represent a hierarchical structure of input information sources. For improving the Situation, we simultaneously realize a selForganizing formation of the competitive system using anti-Hebbian learning and of the receptive fields by synaptic competitive learning.
