Fuzzy Logic Control Based on Sugeno-Type Model and its Application to a Truck Backer-Upper Control

Abstract(in English) This paper describes that we incorporate nonlinear elements into Sugeno-type model and apply Sugeno-type model to a truck backer-upper control. A general fuzzy if-then rule which is based on the fuzzy sets is difficult to generate rules. However using Sugeno-type model, we can use general learning algorithms for the linear functions and do not have fuzzy decision rules based on the fuzzy sets. The proposed approach can approximate nonlinear elements accurately because of use of nonlinear elements. And further, for the proposed approach, it is the same character as Sugeno-type model. We compare the approach with the conventional neural and fuzzy based Sugeno-type model. Computer simulations show the effects for the proposed approach.
