Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We analyze synchronization phenomena observed in a bi-directionally coupled excitatory-inhibitory neuron pairs. Firstly, we classify these circuits as four kinds of bi-directional coupling with ring and ladder structures and overview their synchronization phenomena. Secondly we fix one of their structures, and analyze their bifurcation of equilibria. By using properties of symmetry for the system, we can explain the existence of 2-phase synchronization in the circuit with even-number of the neuron pairs, and n-phase synchronization in the circuit with odd-number of the neuron pairs. We also find out a long-period relaxation oscillation and a periodic solution with some stopped oscillators.
