Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since the applications of oscillatory neural network for information processing are well interested, the method to control the phase or the frequency of oscillatory neural networks are required for its future development. Authors have proposed the learning method to achieve In-phase oscillation between some external periodic function and a neural oscillator. In this study, to achieve information processing by means of the oscillatory neural network, we proposed local connected neural oscillators network. Using this oscillators network, the pattern segmentation problems are able to solve. The proposed oscillators network is applied to simple pattern segmentation and character segmentation in this study. Successful examples of the pattem segmentation are shown by the computer simulation.
