Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a new model and a learning rule for sequence-encoding. This model is designed on the assumption that a neuron can process temporal sequences by itself. Using this model, temporal sequences can be encoded into neural map. It is shown by computer simulations that a hierarchical structure of unit and a rule for sequence-encoding are effective in this model using a pulsed-neuron-unit.
