Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Cellular Neural Networks(CNNs) work as associative memories when the memory patterns correspond to the asymptotically stable equilibrium points of the network dynamics. However if the memory patterns include more than two similar ones, CNNs based on the conventional synthesis procedure generates frequently the cell with only selffeedback from these patterns. As the outputs of such the cells are determined by only their initial values, CNN fails to associate the desired memory pattern. This report describes the discrete-time CNN(DTCNN) for associative memory using 2-dimensional discrete Walsh transform to overcome this problem. |
