Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Hebb rule and mutual inhibition by inhibitory cells cause plastic basic behaviors, many of which cause memory compression. These plastic basic behaviors contribute much to formation of knowledge structure which is consistent to psychological experiment. Functions of columns in neural network has also some of these basic behaviors especially linking function, which equalizes similar input patterns, maintaining other basic behaviors caused by Hebb rule and mutual inhibition. Columns can play all important role for memory compression and formation of intelligent knowledge structure.
